In the health world, it’s always about what you put into your body. What you eat or drink has a direct impact on your body’s ability to function throughout the day.

The more you do or the more exercise you get, the more important it is to watch what you ingest. However, the more you research, the weirder things start to get.

Apple cider vinegar has been used for a variety of reasons. Personally, I use it to catch fruit flies in the house during the summer.

Now, it seems as though drinking it can have wonderful benefits for your health. Here are seven reasons you need to start drinking apple cider vinegar in the mornings.

1. Apple Cider Vinegar Weakens Your Appetite

If you’re trying to lose weight, it could be as simple as drinking apple cider vinegar to keep your appetite in check. During one study, an individual was able to consume 200 to 300 less calories throughout a 24-hour time period.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar Decreases Risk of Heart Disease

Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death on a global scale.

It makes sense to try and avoid this fate if at all possible, especially if the preventative measures are easy.

Vinegar will actually reduce the amount of bad cholesterol in the body, which causes plaque buildup in the arteries.

3. Apple Cider Vinegar Kills Unhealthy Bacteria

Vinegar has antibacterial properties, which is the main reason apple cider vinegar is used as a food preservative.

Vinegar has always been used to clear and disinfect lice, nail fungus, warts, and even ear infections.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar is Anti-Carcinogenic

Anything that prevents cancer is probably worth researching, and it turns out that apple cider vinegar can do just that.

The effect has been studied using lab rats, and in China, they have found that vinegar intake reduces cases of esophageal cancer.

5. Apple Cider Vinegar Soothes Sore Throats

Sore throats are extremely annoying, but they can also be pretty painful.

Apple cider vinegar is a germ killing liquid that can actually kill the germs that cause your sore throat in the first place.

All you need to do is gargle some apple cider vinegar with warm water when you start to feel the symptoms of a sore throat.

6. Apple Cider Vinegar Clears Congestion

In addition to the nuisance of a sore throat, nasal congestion can be equally as annoying.

Apple cider vinegar has a high potassium content, which means that it has the ability to thin mucus that collects in your nasal passages.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar Can Clear Acne

Acne can cause physical pain, self-esteem issues, and stress. However, due to the antibacterial properties of apple cider vinegar, it can be used as a natural remedy for breakouts.

Certain acids found in the vinegar can both exfoliate and soften the skin, which balances the pH levels of the skin itself.
